Welcome from the Office of Admission

We wish you a very warm welcome from the Office of Admissions at Chinese American International School. Here at CAIS, another admission season is over, summer is here and we look forward to welcoming a new group of families into the CAIS community for the upcoming school year. Already, though we are looking ahead to the next season.

At this school, we are very much a community of students, staff and parents from diverse backgrounds reflecting the very nature of San Francisco and our world. We share and are committed to a common vision - that of immersion and international education in Mandarin and English for our children. Our goal is our mission; to educate for academic excellence, moral character and international perspective.

We invite you to visit us and to get to know our school and our community. Please come and see for yourself our mission in practice. There are Open Houses, tours and information sessions, and Admissions events that will start in September 2011 for the application season of the next school year of 2012-2013. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to CAIS.

In our on-going efforts to be green, we do not have a school brochure but instead we invite you to look through our website for the most up-to-date information about our school.

We know how challenging it can be to select the right school for your child and your family and we want to make the process as easy and welcoming as possible. I personally look forward to sharing our school with you.
