CAIS Veracross Parent Portal Tutorial

Log in
  • Parent Portal Link: portals.veracross.com/cais
  • Login with the username/password you received via email.
  • If you have forgotten your password, click the 'forgot your password' link and follow the directions.


Main Page

On the Main Page you will see your child(ren) listed, a list of their current classes, a calendar for the current week, and links to view:

  • Calendars
  • Directory
  • Homework/Assignments
  • Current Schedule
  • Update Profile
Each class listed on the home page is also a link to the webpage for that class.



Update your family information

Click the 'Update Profile' link in the right colum on the main page to update your address, phone numbers, email addresses, emergency contacts, etc.



Find other families
  • Click the 'Directory' tab at the top to view the family and staff directory.
  • Search by typing a name into the search box.
  • Use the links on the right to narrow down your list
  • Get a printable copy of the Directory by clicking the 'download directory' link


Calendar
  • Click the 'Calendars' tab at the top to view the school calendar.
  • Use the sub-tabs to narrow down the list of events displayed (athletics, birthdays, etc.)
  • This calendar is also available on the CAIS website.


Class Websites

Click any class in the class list on the main page to go to the class website. Here you will find Assignments, Photos, and Announcements, and other resources uploaded by the teacher.
