CAIS Journalism Club

Fifth grade teacher Ron Morris has orchestrated an army of aspiring journalists to create the bimonthly Paper Dragon magazine. To date, the club has produced four issues; all of which are student-run including story concepts, research, interviews, photos, writing and editing.
Morris and his group of fourth through eighth grade journalism club students have pioneered the Paper Dragon out of his classroom after school on Friday afternoons. The "Dragon," as it’s affectionately called, is a work of love of journalism and serves as a catalyst for students interested in writing, photography and design.
