Visiting students from Taipei shared their thanks with the community

CAIS recently welcomed 48 students from Taipei Ren-Ai Elementary School for two weeks as part of the Taiwan Exchange program. While the Ren-Ai students were here, they were hosted by CAIS fifth grade families, and during the school days participated in a variety of field trips, enrichment classes and other activities to experience life in San Francisco, learn about local culture, and practice their English language skills.
Before they departed, our visitors from Ren-Ai Elementary School gave International and Experiential Learning Coordinator Emma Loizeaux some messages to pass along!

Chinese Curriculum Director Kevin Chang shared, “I would like to express my greatest appreciation for all the families, teachers, specialists, and administrators who generously gave up their time to support this program by hosting students, teaching special courses, leading field trips, and hosting events. It was wonderful but challenging having SO MANY visiting students on campus. We are grateful that the program is supported by CAIS parents and a team of highly professional and kind educators.”
