花好月圆 and Happy Mid-Autumn Festival
CAIS celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival by sharing moon cakes with students, teachers and staff on all three campuses. This year, we were delighted to find a baker who makes moon cakes without using peanut oil or nut related ingredients!
Giving a nod to his tongue-in-cheek realization that the community has not committed every past blog post to memory, Head of School Jeff Bissell shared a “greatest hits” aggregation of several past Mid-Autumn Festival community missives. The blog post collects a wealth of information about the history and contemporary wrinkles for the celebration.
