Yesterday was the 11th Annual CAIS Cap & Gown Day, this year celebrating the upcoming graduation of the CAIS Class of 2025. Begun in 2015 ostensibly to allow the then Middle School Assistant, Nell Wollner, to check if the eighth graders’ graduation gowns fit and the zippers worked, it has grown into one of the major events of the CAIS graduation season. This year, the event took place in the climate-controlled Ang Athletic Center, which was a considerable improvement over the windy, foggy, and even rainy basketball court at 888 Turk, where students in the class photograph often had to squint into the rising sun. Special thanks to Jenny He and Michelle Li along with the parents of the Class of 2026 for running the event so smoothly.
