In Design Tech students are learning new concepts that will be foundational for their whole lives. Here are two sixth graders who are learning about Design Thinking and Empathy Work, and what it means to design for others.

Students do empathy interviews, independent design work, and design consultation with their End User. They each made hats for each other based on what they wanted. This was also an introduction into cardboard prototyping and they’re all doing great! We’re all very excited to jump into their middle school maker careers!
