In Preschool, we provide individualized teaching and learning to young children and each family will receive your child’s student portfolio four times a year. We implement research-based curricula and learning practices, offering screening and ongoing child assessments through nurturing, responsive, and effective interactions and engaging environments.
Preschool teachers get to know each child through ongoing observation and documentation during interactions. They document children’s learning progression through anecdotal notes, work samples, photos, and videos. Teachers regularly analyze assessment data and ask questions about what the data tell us regarding each child’s interests and needs.
